I so so hope this story has a little truth in it. Sheva back at Milan doesn't quite do it for me. But Sheva not at Chelsea makes me want to dance around a tree and sing!

Obviously I've always found him delicious. I'm not blind! But that was the day the obsession started.

I didn't talk about anything else for 2 solid days.. In fact, Most of the following morning was spent singing dirty songs about him.

All that chatting on the phone with Shay has totally zonked me out.

I've been playing this "game" with Zvone for the last 30 minutes. he is trying to guess every single Arsenal player I've ever drooled over. He's doing well. But he just can't get this guy. Admittedly, I forgot about Silvinho too..

I thought the clues "He's Brazilian" and "He plays in Spain" and "He's really really cute!" would've given it away but no..

I thought he might be fit. I was right. OK, quick digest of last week’s goings on.

Freddie won Swedish footballer of the year, threw up in a bucket and missed Sweden’s game due to a Migraine attack cos he ate cheese. Guess who nursed him back to health?

Rafa Nadal lost to Federer again. (Not that I care about Tennis but that guy... mmm...)

Robin van Persie’s wife gave birth to a baby boy called Shaqueel. (awww...!)

Patrick Vieira won his 100th cap for France. Does that mean he's getting ooold?

Yeah there’s more news but I really can’t be bothered to read it all now cos I’m a lazy git.. I'll wipe the slate clean and start again tomorrow. Sorreee (I'll make a crap reporter. )

Lovely Jenni has been keeping you all.. (I'm quite aware that only 2 other people give a monkeys about this blog!) entertained while I've been elsewhere..

I was going to go on a posting spree tonight but the thought of looking through 800 Google alerts for any really interesting news filled me with dread.

So I've been playing with Movie Maker instead and managed to snip this lovely clip out of Match of the Day. It only took.. oh.. ages!

It was fun though.. such a chore having to look at him and listen to that accent for hours on end.. Although now I've noticed that he seems to have a problem stringing a sentence together.. poor thing.. I'll have to find some other interviews and see if it's a regular thing.

Just had International Political Theory lecture, where Peter Hough told us that the breakup of the former Yugoslavia was resolved by the Americans letting the three individual leaders have casual use of a building and do a little "old style diplomacy" - secretive stuff over claret and cigars. Apparently, the dispute was resolved when Milosevic brought some bloke whose name I can't spell a coffee in bed!

What does this have to do with Friends of Ours, I hear you ask?

I wrote a note to my friend Paddy asking if he thought it would work with Freddie and Erik!

I hate tabloids.

As for the rest of the weekend's action, it was sad to see little Tim getting injured. Fully forgiven now.

I discovered that Zat Knight is fit.

And MOTD broke its Erik embargo and made Cazza very happy.

Apart from that, Arsenal won, Spurs lost and therefore everything is right with the world!

Tim Cahill didn't do anything particular against Arsenal last night. The Independent had a VERY lovely piccie of him and Senderos, including Tim's tongue not being in his mouth at all in a VERY Henrik Larsson like way, but I can't find it online That's why buying papers is better. It's also why they cost money.

This lovely man once did an awful thing to Dinamo Zagreb.

He left them and went to Hajduk Split.

And now Dinamo fans don't like him.

When I showed signs of disgust about this, I was told (by a Dinamo fan) that I shouldn't be so mean to him!!

Gah.. At least now he's at Portsmouth, it means he's seen sense and left that icky club.

Not having any hair hasn't stopped him with the flowers:

He still looks cute. Ros appreciated the lines around his eyes, which are what makes his smile so yummy. I said I am getting those, with age, and the girl next to us on the uni computers took an active interest. She told me I have a long way to go yet!

He has been saying lots of nice things about Asian football, and that he thinks his talents lean more towards working with children than coaching.

Kaka scored a hat trick a couple days ago against Anderlecht and suddenly everyone is going on about how amazing he is etc etc etc.. So if he'd only scored 2 goals. would that mean that Ronaldinho is still "better"? Bloody newspapers getting over excited. I mean.. we all know who's the nicer one don't we..

Except it’s in French.

Which isn’t a problem if you speak French (or Spanish). Which I don’t, not really. My French is OK but not good for lots and lots of text, or idioms.

I did find out that “Pleins les yeux” means “Feed the eyes”. I take it that’s the same as “Feast your eyes”. Cool. I do like crossover idioms! I still don’t know what the Ministry of the Magic Bomb is though…

Anyway, gripe #2 with wonderland site is that theft of pictures is made difficult. Print screening and lots of pasting into Paint is the order of the day. Cazza had to help me with that lovely one on the right of the page, because it’s bigger than the screen!
